I try to keep the site updated as much as possible, but finding the time to do it is always difficult, especially with our recent move back to Canada from Holland.
With Bert off for work - 3 weeks back in Holland! - we put together a little show of recent pictures of our house and neighborhood. Click HERE to view them.
News from work here at Stream Chilliwack! We are again sponsoring the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundations' yearly Big Bike! fundraising event. Check out the link to find out more about the event - if you want to donate to the cause, you can click on my name and add an electronic donation. Do it from the heart!
Stream Chilliwack is also sponsored the Big Brothers and Big Sisters' Bowl-A-Thon again this year. We had 2 teams attending their Hawaiian themed Bowl-A-Thon on March 9th, one of which I'm a member of. The whole night was a blast and we raised almost $1000 for BBBS!
In other news at work, we've had a bit of a reorganization here mid-February. A few eggshells to be walked on at the time but things seem to have settled and me and my team have moved on to another account in the building and seem to be fitting in nicely. I'm so proud of my agents for taking this in stride and being so professional about the whole move.
One HUGE news item for Bertje, is that he had been asked to work as Moderator on a new website promoting a contest sponsored by Coloplast. This contest lets those who are living with a stoma send in innovative ideas to improve stoma supplies. The best idea will win the grand prize..........He has been really enjoying the challenge and has been getting top-toad marks from the organizers for all his dedication and hard work on the site.

Bertje just returned on Friday from a week in Montreal where he got to hang out with his counterparts from Holland while learning more about the program they use for work. He really enjoys the brain-games these sessions turn into and comes home brimming with enthusiasm every time. Bit different this time around as he's located out here and not with the gang in Hilversum, but enjoyable for the difference all the same.
Information on the websites I've been honored to work on is now available under the link above. I'm sad to say that I will no longer be involved with the Advocacy For Patients website, but fully understand the need for the sites' growth and evolvement that I just cannot encompass right now. Em is set up with another webdesigner who is promising to keep the site in good shape for her.
Personal updates on family and friends is available as well as any new quilts or creations I've been working along with past projects.
In the albums section, you'll find, as ever, loads of shots from various vacations and road trips we've done over the years. Some links to Photobucket slide-shows are also available to try to save some storage space.
I hope you enjoy your visit
......sincerely, Sandra
